Fact file and due diligence

There is no government regulatory body for use of force, positive handling or restraint providers. Headteachers and directors have the freedom to use their expert judgement when choosing a provider. The government does not promote providers, and local authorities can recommend but not instruct. Every Safer Handling trainer holds vocational qualifications from government regulated awarding bodies. Training should be bespoke to your client group: age and size appropriate.
