This online induction course covers the basics behind using The Safer Emergency Enveloping Lifting Sling (SEELS). The following module has been designed with input from our manual, which you should download from the 'Start Course' page after purchase.
Further face to face training is recommended at any additional cost - please refer to the manual and medical review and contact us for further information.
This course is designed to ensure that anyone using the SEELS has a base knowledge of the legalities surrounding its use, general application and care of the product.
Soft Restraint products, the SEELS and any other items of PPE or Work Equipment should only be deployed by persons who are physically fit for the task, have undergone appropriate training and are using them operationally, or within training and within a lawful context.
We do not recommend using any aspect of the Soft Restraint Kit or SEELS without first completing the additional physical session of the course in person at additional cost, and having your ability assessed and confirmed during the face to face session or if this is not possible via video link.
